The roads have been modernized by the government and now feature a beautiful rose colour footpath on both sides of the road made from interlocking tiles; almost a signature of the city now! A high mast light has also been installed at Kuravankonam which has totally changed the way the Kuravankonam round-about looks in the evenings. What is there to be said more? Even the official residence of the Chief Minister of Kerala, Cliff House, is just a short walk away from Kuravankonam junction!
